Recently, the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) released the latest data showing that since November 14, US LNG exports have increased from 14 billion cubic feet per day to 14.4 billion cubic feet per day, reaching a nine-month high.
LSEG data shows that Cheniere's Sabine Pass export plant in Louisiana, the largest LNG exporter in the United States, has produced 4.9 billion cubic feet per day, a three-week high. The company's new Plaquemines project has been producing natural gas in test mode for two months, and Cheniere's natural gas exports may continue to climb. In addition, US federal regulators allowed Venture Global LNG to start its LNG production equipment at the Plaquemines plant in early September, continuing to increase exports from the Plaquemines terminal.
LSEG said that after Trump's victory in the election, the stock prices of US LNG exporters rose sharply. Many people believe that the US LNG industry is the main beneficiary of US-EU trade, and US LNG exports are likely to have room for growth.
