Brazil makes preliminary anti-dumping ruling on Chinese polyether polyols

On August 8, the Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services of Brazil issued Announcement No. 37 of 2024, making a preliminary affirmative anti-dumping ruling on polyether polyols originating in China with a molecular weight between 300 and 4500 g/mol and a purity of not less than 90%, including polyether polyol mixtures with a concentration of not less than 90%, but no temporary anti-dumping duties will be imposed for the time being. The Mercosur tariff number of the product involved is 3907.29.39.
The announcement will take effect from the date of publication.
The final ruling is expected to be made before November 5, 2024.
